  DAYTON - Margarette Rebecca Pegues, 96, died Dec. 16, 2016 at Life Care of Rhea County. Margarette was a lifelong resident of Rhea County, a retired Beautician and a member of The Grove Church in Dayton. She was preceded in death by parents, Andrew Jackson and Lucy Ann Turner Bankston; two sisters, Estelle Newberry, Katy Tocco; one brother, Bob Bankston. Survivors include son, Bob (Pamela J.) Pegues, of Folsom, La.; three grandchildren, Geoffrey, Daniel, and Jessica Pegues; five great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Jan. 7, 2017, at 2 p.m. in The Grove Church, in Dayton, with Rev. Eddie Suttles officiating.
